At Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics we strive to provide quality pediatric health care. To achieve this goal we must measure our performance and continually maintain and improve our care and services.
Ways we measure how we are doing include:
- We receive feedback from patients and families. This information helps us learn how we can continue to improve our family centered focus.
- We monitor processes and outcomes associated with specific patient conditions. These types of measures tell us about the safety and success of our care.
- We understand how patients and families access our organization and health care providers so that we can meet the needs of patients in a timely manner.
- We evaluate how our services compare to national standards and benchmarks.
